Overview

Hatchman was commissioned to provide hydraulic services including mechanical and design solutions for:

• 1.5 million litre internal water panel tank
• Stainless steel cooling piping network from the storage tank to cooling towers
• Mechanical piping network to provide water to steam humidifier system for connection to computer room air-conditioning (CRAC) units
• Complete fire protection system
• Domestic water, stormwater, sanitary, gas, recycled water, and hot water systems
• Emergency flooding sub floor drainage systems.

Solutions

Hatchman provided a smart design and construct solution for the 1.5 million litre recycled water storage facility located inside a confined basement void space:

• A series of 3 interconnected bolted panel rectangular tanks to fit the 7m height
• A high tensile bolting system for added strength due to the height
